Description
Our client is a leading fabrication company servicing the offshore marine and defence industries. Due to recent growth they are now looking for a Welding Engineer to work from their busy North East facility.

The Role

Keeping site Welding qualifications tracked and updated
Onsite testing
Overseeing the welder training facility
Welding repairs
Looking for trends in welding defects
Revalidation of welder qualifications (Prolongations)

The Person

IWE/EWE qualifications
Previous experience as a qualified Welding Engineer within a fabrication environment
