Description
We are currently working with a client based in the North East on an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an experienced team in the Offshore Industries. The role involves producing engineering deliverables for a work-pack, sub-system, or entire project throughout its life cycle.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
  • Developing technical solutions for complex engineering challenges, which may involve concept design, detailed design, calculations, analysis, and the preparation of technical reports/documentation.
  • Taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring successful delivery within the specified time frame, budget, and in compliance with the required quality standards.
  • Working under the guidance and direction of the Senior Engineer.
Job requirements:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (BEng/MEng) is required as a minimum.
  • Proven experience in engineering design and development.
Additional notes:
  • The role may involve both national and international travel.
  • Candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK.
